Ines Grund, Group COO, joined Sun European in January 2024. Prior to joining Sun European, Ms. Grund worked as an Operating Partner in Private Equity and Infrastructure for over 5 years. Her focus is on driving superior performance within portfolio companies across the deal cycle with a specific emphasis on value creation. Most recently, Ms. Grund held a management position at an Advent International portfolio company within the German Healthcare market.

Her background is in management consulting with McKinsey & Company where she advised c-suite executives and investors mainly in healthcare and production industries. Her core areas of expertise are strategy and operations, especially transformations within procurement and manufacturing, organization design and sales force excellence. Prior to McKinsey, Ms. Grund worked in investment banking for Dresdner Kleinwort, UBS and Goldman Sachs.

Ms. Grund holds a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School in New York and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
