Marc Mabon, Managing Director, joined Sun European Partners in 2015. Prior to joining Sun European Partners, Mr. Mabon was a director of Oxford Private Equity Consulting Limited, which advised a number of Sun Capital portfolio companies. Before this, Mr. Mabon was a Senior Director at Alvarez and Marsal Europe LLP, advising on restructuring and turnaround projects. He received a BSc in Economics from Cambridge University and an MA (Cantab).

 

Ulrich Otto, Managing Director, has been part of the Operations team since 2019. He took the role of CEO at Exadel, a Sun Capital affiliated portfolio company, and returned to Sun European in 2024. Prior to Sun European, Mr Otto was an Operating Executive Advisor at Cerberus and had different roles in Portfolio Management for European and African private equity funds. Mr. Otto started his career in Management Consulting with Bain & Company and Booz & Company, advising private equity firms and industrial and technology companies on strategy, operations, and due diligence. He received his Master of Business Administration from London Business School, U.K., and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and Economics from TU Braunschweig, Germany.

 

Helene Egebøl, Group COO, joined Sun European in September 2023. Prior to joining Sun European, Mrs. Egebøl worked as Operating Partner for Triton Partners. Previously, she has held both CEO/Managing Director positions as well as Commercial director positions in different technology and services companies in Denmark. Mrs. Egebøl started her career within management consulting working for Kearney out of London and Düsseldorf. Mrs. Egebøl has an MS in Business Administration from the Heinrich-Heine University of Düsseldorf.

 

Harsh Mehta, Group COO, rejoined Sun European in September 2025. With a background in private equity, Harsh brings deep experience as a value creation professional, helping build and scale businesses both as an operator and an investor. Harsh has previously held leadership roles at ISTARI (a Temasek cybersecurity company), Numan, BC Partners, and Amazon among others. His experience has been focused on scaling, growing, and creating value through technology transformation, building high-performing teams, and driving sales force effectiveness. He has an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and an MBA from IMD, Switzerland.
