Sun European Partners, LLP (“Sun European Partners”) today announces that it has made three senior appointments to its European team: Jerome Nomme joins the firm as a Principal on the transaction team; Tim Stubbs joins the firm as a Managing Director on the Operations team; David Finnigan, a Managing Director on the Operations team, has relocated from the Boca Raton office to the London office.
Prior to joining Sun European Partners, Jerome spent thirteen years working in Corporate Finance at Ernst and Young where he was a Partner and before that at Arthur Andersen in their offices in London, Paris and New York. During his career working on cross-border mergers and acquisitions across a wide range of industries, he has gained considerable experience in the areas of M&A Advisory, Capital & Debt Advisory, and Valuation Analysis. Jerome is a French national and has an MBA from Columbia and London Business Schools. In his new role as Principal, Jerome will bolster the team’s activity in Europe.
Tim Stubbs joins Sun European Partners from his role as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Sapa Group in Stockholm, a $5 billion global aluminium products business with 65 operations throughout the World. Prior to this, Tim was Chief Executive Officer of Indalex, a Chicago-based aluminium extrusion business and a former affiliate portfolio company of Sun Capital Partners. Tim received a BA in Metallurgy from Oxford University and has an MBA from London Business School. As part of the Operations team, Tim will be working with various affliliated portfolio companies to drive operational improvement.
David Finnigan has been based in the US with Sun Capital Partners for four years and has more than 25 years of consumer products experience with the last eighteen years in senior management roles. Previously, David was President and CEO of Elan Nutrition, an affiliated portfolio company of Sun Capital Partners and a leading U.S. manufacturer of nutrition bars. He also spent six years in a variety of general management positions with Dal–Tile Corporation, a top ceramic tile manufacturer. Prior to Dal–Tile, David spent 17 years with Armstrong World Industries in general management positions.
