Sun European Partners, LLP (“Sun”) a leading private investment advisory firm, today announced the promotion of seven members of its European investment team.
Jerome Nomme, who joined the London office in 2011, was promoted to Managing Director and another two professionals were promoted to Prinicipal: Philippe Neuschaefer and Jordan Wadsworth, both members of the European investment team.
Further promotions across the European office network include Alain Cianchini to Vice President and Elena Filekova, Noelle Medani and Robert Tazelar to Senior Associate.

Jerome Nomme, promoted to Managing Director. Prior to joining Sun European Partners, Mr Nomme was a Partner at Ernst & Young Corporate Finance in Paris where he worked primarily on mid-market buy-side and sell-side M&A engagements. Prior to joining EYCF, he gained experience within the Arthur Andersen Corporate Finance teams in Paris and New York. Mr. Nomme holds a dual MBA from Columbia Business School and London Business School and is a registered Chartered Financial Analyst.
Philippe Neuschaefer, promoted to Principal. Mr Neuschaefer joined Sun European Partners in 2008. Previously, he worked as an associate for three years in the Corporate Finance team of Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt where he was involved in M&A transactions across various sectors. Prior to that, he served as an analyst in the Corporate Finance Team with Credit Suisse in Frankfurt, primarily focusing on financial sponsor transactions. He received a Business Diploma with Honours from the European Business School, Oestrich-Winkel, Germany.
Jordan Wadsworth, promoted to Principal. Mr Wadsworth joined Sun in 2006 after serving for over three years with J.P. Morgan in the investment banking group where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, debt financings, and equity offerings spanning various industries. Mr. Wadsworth received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Alain Cianchini, promoted to Vice President. Mr Cianchini joined Sun European Partners in 2010, having previously served as an analyst with Citigroup Investment Banking in London focusing on LBO transactions. Prior to joining Citigroup, Mr Cianchini worked with JP Morgan in the mergers and acquisitions team in Paris and with Goldman Sachs in the Principal Investment Area team in London. Mr Cianchini received a MSc and Diplôme de Grande École in Finance & Business Administration from HEC Paris and a Bachelors degree in Economics from Università Bocconi.
Elena Filekova, promoted to Senior Associate. Ms. Filekova joined Sun European Partners in 2012, having previously served as an analyst and associate with Goldman Sachs Investment Banking in London focusing on Consumer & Retail transactions and in New York focusing on Natural Resources transactions. Prior to this, Ms. Filekova completed internships with Goldman Sachs Investment Banking and ING Asset Management in New York. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York.
Noelle Medani, promoted to Senior Associate. Ms. Medani joined Sun European Partners in 2011, having previously served as an analyst and associate with Lehman Brothers / Nomura Investment Banking in London focusing on the Telecom, Media and Technology space. Prior to this, Ms. Medani completed internships with The Royal Bank of Scotland in Paris within the Corporate and Leverage Finance team and with France Telecom in Paris. Ms. Medani received a BA and Master of Science in Management (Diplôme Grande Ecole) from ESSEC Business School in Paris.
Robert Tazelar, promoted to Senior Associate. Mr Tazelaar joined Sun European Partners in 2011, having previously served as an analyst and associate with Merrill Lynch Investment Banking in London focusing on Consumer & Retail transactions. Prior to this, Mr. Tazelaar completed internships with Dresdner Kleinwort in London and Rabo Securities in Amsterdam. Mr. Tazelaar received a MSc in Finance from the VU University Amsterdam.
