Jim Morris, Group COO, joined Sun Capital in 2020. Prior to joining Sun Capital he led the Building Management Systems division at Johnson Controls, a $2.2B global device and technology business. Prior to Johnson Controls he held multiple President and P&L leadership roles at Western Digital, Seagate, and L3Harris. Before that he was an Associate Partner in McKinsey’s Chicago and South African offices. Mr. Morris graduated from the U.S. Military Academy, was awarded a Bronze Star during Operation Desert Storm, and received his Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School.
